There are times when we feel unsatisfied and sad. We worry about what may happen next but we do not know how fix it. It is hard to sleep, hard to complete tasks and we start to lose our sense of control. Our emotions get the best of us and we sometimes are unable to communicate our needs.

I work in this field because I believe that we are all connected. The well-being of one person has effects on others. When one person heals, those nearby are affected as well. A centered parent can raise healthy children, a teacher that can reduce their own anxiety can create a calm classroom, a person that can be in the present can find clarity in the future. I am inspired to be part of the cycle of change for those that choose therapy. I have been working in private practice offering mental health therapy since 2009. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, parents and families. We have addressed parenting, stage of life transitions, adoption, identity, trauma and symptoms related to depression and anxiety.
I was born and raised in the Bay Area. I have a masters in counseling and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (license #45494). I have been working in private practice offering mental health therapy since 2009. Other experiences include training in mindfulness, working with eating disorders, trauma informed therapy and a passion for helping others figure their stuff out.
Our work together will create and clarify the changes you want to make. We will explore your strengths and create techniques that assist you in your journey. You will experience an increase your emotional vocabulary, an awareness of your five senses and an ability to develop prompts to check in with yourself.
